ZF Alpha Update #3

At Triton we’re preparing for the next phase of alpha testing for Zenith Frontier. In readiness, we have revoked all previously issued product keys. Thank you again to all participants who helped to test the prototype, your feedback has been invaluable! All previous testers will be invited to the first new alpha test, if you wish to continue participating simply follow the instructions in your invitation email.

We will also be opening new tester positions for players who have not yet tested Zenith Frontier. To sign up to the alpha test please complete the application here which collects some basic information about your gaming profile.

Now that we have progressed development from the prototype to the product itself, testing is going to be more structured and we will be asking testers to sign an agreement that includes not disclosing details or footage of the game. We will also be providing more direction to the participants about the focus of each test cycle.

What is expected of me as a tester?

We’re asking our testers to spend about 30 minutes per week on Zenith Frontier, reporting any bugs they discover and suggesting features through the portal. We will also be sending out surveys for each test cycle - we know that your insights are invaluable! By using the new portal, the tester team will be able to view and comment on all the feedback received. We hope that this will promote discussion of the ideas you are contributing.

What should I expect?

Testers should expect an incomplete product, bugs, crashes, missing features and documentation, and frequent changes and updates.
